This to the left is the editing suite that it gives you upon startup. On the left I have organised all of the clips that we want to use in numerical order to make the flow of editing a lot easier and smoother. These clips will be pulled onto the time line which you can see in the next picture. This is the workplace for all of the editing and allows you to cut and change the clips.

In the effects panel shown on the left their were many presets and panels that I could have their. For example when looking at audio I had this panel to allow me to adjust the masters of each channel. In addition to this I could put other effect controls such as colour grading tool and filters.
For the editing of the film In general I have cut down the film to around 10 mins with input from other crew members to see if they liked it and what improvement were necessary. After editing it down to this I then went through all of the clips and was strict on my self to cut out any bad shots or even trimming down longer cuts that weren't key for the film.
When editing I used the splice (S) tool the most which cut the clip at a specified part. From here I could then delete the unwanted clip and close the gap between clips. This was the main tool as I didn't need to change much about the film. The general tools that were used were the hand tool to move the clip on the timeline and the move tool to change my location on the timeline.
After editing the film I did some colour grading to make the film appear how we wanted it to be for the final version to match stereotypes of our chosen genre.
After the slight colour adjustment I applied the Ident and Credits and any of logo's into the film as they were the finishing touches and were completed last. Before exporting the clip I also applied a Letterbox which would appear on feature films as the aspect ratio of the screen would be narrower. This added a touch of realism and professional style to our short and made it a bit more refined.
Upon exporting I used the inbuilt export window which allowed me to export it as a .Mp4 file at max resolution. In addition it allowed me to adjust the cut of time which was 5 minutes and 28 seconds.
excellent skill in the use of digital technology or ICT in the presentation.
